3 Things you MUST do in Austin, Texas

Austin, Texas is a spot that attracts tons of tourists for a wide variety of reasons. Being the capitol of Texas, the live music capitol of the world, AND a place known to possess a "hippie culture," it's hard to not find something to love about Austin. There is a lot of opportunity for business, networking, and still room for pleasure! Now, Bare Bones Marketing is here to tell you three things you MUST do in Austin at some point in your lifetime.

A river

Barton Springs Pool

Barton Springs Pool at Zilker Park is a great representation of Austin. Filled with both native Austinites and tourists, Barton Springs offers visitors a refreshing experience in natural springs that are said to have "healing powers." The temperature usually stays around a chilly 70 degrees, and many restaurants are nearby making a quick bite to eat afterwards easy!

Congress Avenue Bats

At some point in your life, you have probably seen a photo or painting of the bats flying up and around the Congress Avenue Bridge. However, seeing the bats in real life is an experience that you cannot pass up! You can either watch them from the bridge or from the water, but make sure you get there around dusk. Some say the best way to watch them is from a boat on Lady Bird Lake.

Rainey Street

With various restaurants and bars lining each of its sides, Rainey Street has become quite popular among residents and tourists. Outdoor patios and old homes set Rainey Street apart from other bars around Austin, and better yet, it is still growing!
