How to Increase Traffic on Your Website
Updated: Apr 14, 2020
A lot of times when people want to increase website traffic, they resort to inorganic methods, i.e. paying for it. However, research has shown that organically creating traffic can be up to 13 times more effective. This could be because people have had to put in more effort to find you, therefore having more of a motivation to buy, or simply because of chance. Either way, here are a few things you can do to increase traffic organically:
Take Advantage of Snapchat
As the digital world continues to evolve, so does Snapchat. Snapchat can be used as a medium that provides easy access to your website, as well as to promotions that only require one easy click from the customers end. It also allows your customers to experience your company behind the scenes, building trust and confidence in your products and culture.
You would be surprised at how many social media influencers you can find by reaching out into your already-established network. It could be that your best friends cousin has 50k Instagram followers, or your co-workers boyfriend is starring as an extra in a movie and can hook you up. Devoting a chunk of your budget, whether it be small or large, to this strategy will pay off in the long-run.
Increase Website Speed
As part of the human race, we can attest to the fact that we are bred to be extremely impatient. We all can remember a time that we got frustrated when a Google search took more than 5 seconds to load. With this being said, the faster your website, the better. Try to identify performance issues as soon as you launch, so that your website can become more relevant and win over your customer as opposed to alternatives.
