You know that week every once in a while where you feel like your running on a hamster wheel to get everything done? When everything feels like it's just piling up on each other? We are familiar with it too. Luckily, there are many things you can do to lower your stress level, and even outright avoid stress in the first place. Here are a few!
Eat properly
When stress levels rise, people tend to eat anything and everything in sight. However, sugary and fatty foods don't help. Try reaching for fruits and veggies instead. Believe it or not, tuna fish sandwiches are actually really good for your brain!
Take a deep breath
As cliche as it sounds, taking deep breaths has proven to bring your heart rate down and relax your body. There are endless breathing exercises online that only take up to five minutes of your day. However, be sure not to take shallow breaths!
Have a cup of tea
Large amounts of caffeine can cause your body to become extremely unbalanced, which only adds to your stress levels. Green tea contains ingredients that have a calming effect on the nervous system, and contains much less caffeine.
If that stressful week for you happens to be now, try implementing some of these tips into your daily life. And if any of your stress is rooted from marketing, don't be afraid to give us a call! ;-)
